  With new vineyard projects underway and exciting ultra-premium sources of fruit in both Napa Valley, California and Willamette Valley, Oregon, Bill’s dream of producing handcrafted wines from exceptional vineyard sites became a reality with the inception of Bighorn Cellars in 1994. Bighorn Cellars was created to focus on producing elegant wines of depth and style that are an honest expression of their unique vineyard sites. Richard Wollack, Bill’s partner at Premier Pacific Vineyards became a partner in Bighorn Cellars as well. Don Baker became the winemaker of Bighorn Cellars in 2000 immediately after his return from a two year winemaking project in Chile.
